This song was written as part of a collaboration with pro skater Ricky Glaser. I offered to write a song for his brand "I like sk8" and he accepted! "I like sk8" aims to encourage others to express themselves freely in skating despite the pressures of the skateboarding community to conform to certain paths. It doesn't matter what clothing brand your wearing, what kind of board you ride, or what kind of moves you do. All that matters is that special feeling when your enjoying yourself. All that matters is "I like sk8", simple.
